Which herbal teas are relaxing?

One of the most important uses of herbal teas is to reduce stress, anxiety and increase the quality of sleep. Relaxing teas are usually prepared using natural herbs such as thyme, mint, rose, saffron and other natural antioxidants. Relaxing tea can help improve sleep quality and reduce sleep problems such as insomnia and disturbed sleep.

Mint tea:

Soothing mint tea is prepared from dry mint leaves and has sedative, anti-anxiety and sleep-inducing properties. To make mint tea, you can add fresh or dried mint leaves to your favorite tea, or use the following method:

Put a teaspoon of dry mint leaves in a teapot with a cup of boiling water.

How to make borage tea:

Brew some saffron with black tea or your favorite tea. Even the aroma of this tea is relaxing!


Rose extract is known to calm the heart and relax the nerves and is used in syrups and teas. According to research, rosehip oil is anti-depressant. You can add some dried roses to black tea, or brew with some cardamom and saffron and enjoy its unique aroma.

Fragrant seeds and plants such as cardamom, cinnamon, oregano, citrus fruits, etc., are effective in relieving fatigue and relaxing the mind and body after a long working day; because of their pleasant smell and taste.
